JEDWARD tried to freshen up their careers yesterday - by making an advert for Shake n' Vac.

Tuneless  twins jedward, tried their own version of the famous dance from the classic commercial first shown 30 years ago.

Jedward even sprinkled the carpet cleaner - which is then sucked up with a vacuum cleaner - on the pavement outside the central London recording studios.

John said: "It's a lot of fun. That's what we are all about."

Edward added: "When we were younger we had five dogs and we would let them in the house and it would smell bad and then we would use Shake n' Vac and it would make the carpet smell nice."

Jedward were joined for the shake and vac internet advert - online from May 20 - by actress Jenny Logan, who played the original jingle-singing housewife.
